What is Selection Day?
Steps leading up to being involved with Selection Day:
-Filling out Puppy Application
-Puppy Application being except by Spruce Lane Doodles
-Place your reserve fee/ Deposit
Selection Day is when you will select your puppy out of your mother list, in the order reserves were placed.
Once you have completed the last step, you will be added to the mother list or lists of your choosing. After that mother has given birth, we will set up Selection Days and times for that specific mother list. We will email you a specific date and time for your selection. If this time does not work for you, you will be pushed back on the list. Due to COVID you currently will have the option to FaceTime, Call or Text for your selection. There will be NO visiting the puppies for your selection time, until COVID is over. This is for the safety of our puppies and staff. Please keep a watch for your times changing under 'Selection Day Schedule'. Times are subject to change until the evening before selection day. All times listed are in central standard time. We will post videos of each individual puppy prior to Selection Day and 6 week old pictures. Prior to your time I will text you and ask for your top 3 puppies (these will be the puppies you select out of). I will post on our FaceBook page who has been selected as we go. If you are in need of delivery it must be set up before Selection Day, in order for us to accommodate. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!
What is Graduation Day?
Prior to graduation day...
-Set up a specific pickup time or delivery time
-We will send you a Graduation Day email with all the information you might need prior
-We will send you an invoice
-Set up your puppy's Wellness check with a certified veterinarian within 48-72 hours of you picking up your puppy.
-Purchase a bag of Country Vet Naturals Growing Puppy formula 28/18 ratio You can find this food on Chewy.com or Amazon.com. We also sell 5 Ib. bags in house that you can request prior to graduation day.
-Check out our 'Store' page to purchase anything you might need for your new puppy.
-If you are wanting a specific item scented with Momma and littermates scent rubbed on it, please send this to us before your pickup appointment.
It's official!! Time to pick-up your new fur family member!! You also have the option to have your fur family member delivered to you, this must be set up before Selection Day in order for us to accommodate. Here is what to know for the big day...
Please be on time for your appointment, if you are running late please notify us as soon as possible as it may result in your appointment needing to be rescheduled. We have appointments scheduled most of the day so this can create an issue if people aren't prompt. We want you to have plenty of time to ask us any questions and review any paperwork without being rushed. Your new furever family member will be excited for your arrival! If you arrive early, please wait until we wave you into the office so we can clean between appointments.
At this time due to Covid-19 we are asking that you wear a mask (even if you're vaccinated) and only bring 2 family members into the office for pickup. If you have recently been exposed to the virus, has a positive test result or are not feeling well, we ask that you notify us and we can make other arrangements for pickup. We are disinfecting between appointments for everyone's safety!
